I’ll be running my first New York City Marathon in support of the Children’s Brain Tumor Foundation and in honor of the patients and families who inspire me every day.
As a radiation oncologist treating patients with CNS tumors, I see firsthand the courage, resilience, and hope that define this community. This marathon is about more than 26.2 miles — it is about standing with children and families affected by brain and spinal cord tumors and supporting the mission of the Children’s Brain Tumor Foundation.
Thanks for cheering me on — and for helping turn 26.2 miles of suffering into something good.
