I’m so excited to announce that I will be running the 2026 TCS NYC Marathon as part of the Children’s Brain Tumor Foundation Endurance Team!

Running the NYC marathon has been a longtime personal goal of mine. As a busy mom of 2 and a dedicated Nurse Practitioner, I'm ready to take on the marathon with the same strength, resilience, and determination I bring to my family and patients every day. 

But this year’s race means even more, as I’m also running in memory of Bryan’s cousin. On September 11, 2025, we lost a true warrior, Jeremiah McCarthy. He embodied courage, perseverance, and an incredible ability to inspire everyone around him to never give up. I am dedicating these 26.2 miles in honor of his legacy, his family, and in support of all those impacted through the Children’s Brain Tumor Foundation. I am honoring his love for running and dedicating this race to the impact he made through his support of the Children’s Brain Tumor Foundation. CBTF not only meant so much to him, but also provided meaningful support to his family during an incredibly difficult time.

CBTF supports children and families impacted by brain and spinal cord tumors from diagnosis through treatment, survivorship, and beyond. Their programs provide emotional, educational, and practical support during one of the most challenging journeys a family can face.

I’ve committed to raising $3,750 to help ensure these families never feel alone.
